The magazine Independent Press Award and NYC Big Book Award present is published eight times per year and has been issued the following ISSNs by the U.S. ISSN Center, Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.: Format: Online Format: ISSN 2836-9157; and the Print Format: ISSN 2836-9149.

The magazine covers books in the Independent Press Award (every SPRING) as well as the NYC Big Book Award (every FALL), which allows the largest publishers to participate.
